What are some rare photos we’ve never seen before?

There is an island in the Pacific called Yap, which uses round stones as currency. Because the stones were too large to move, ownership of the stones was traded by word of mouth.

One of them was on a raft and subsequently sank. It’s still underwater, so it still has an owner to spend it on.

This 1902 photo shows a French knife sharpener. They do abdominal exercises to keep their backs from hunching all day long.

In 1969, Niagara Falls lost water for the first time in tens of thousands of years; results from the Army Corps of Engineers Geological Survey. They cleared the rocks and removed any debris and rubbish and found two bodies.
