After Supatra’s mother and dad, Sompon and Samrerng, welcomed her in August 5, 1999, they experienced joy and anticipation like no other.

As the doctor informed them that their child had huge hair, their joy was tinged with disbelief, astonishment, and apprehension. Initially thinking it might be ordinary, they were shocked when they saw her in the incubator. Supatra had hair covering nearly every inch of her body, and even medical professionals had never seen anything like it before.
